“BuPfi” (“Bundes-Pfingstlager”) is Austria’s national Whitsun Scout camp. It brings together young people aged 16 to 20 each year over the Pentecost holidays. In 2026, around 730 participants and team members gathered in Salzburg.
The Concept
The theme “MotzHart” – a wordplay on Mozart and the German word for grumbling – connects Salzburg’s most famous son with the playful concept of mischief and complaint. Mozart, grouchy and drawn in a graffiti style, runs as the central motif across all materials: festival cups, wristbands, lanyards, badges and T-shirts. A visual language that speaks directly to the camp’s audience of 16- to 20-year-olds and stays with them long after the summer.
